The Bessarabia Band
Klezmer Classics & Folk - Thursday 3rd May: 6:30pm
We are excited to host The Bessarabia Band on their only East London date as part of their forthcoming UK tour.
A long-established popular Bessarabia band, comprising of two violins, clarinet, viola and cello, hail from Israel. The musicians, trained in the best music academies of the former Soviet Russia, enchant the audiences by their renditions of classical, chamber, dance, folk and klezmer numbers.
"When Bessarabia comes to a concert hall near you, rest assured that you're going to witness a truly festive musical event!" (C. Taub, former Leader of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra)

Bessarabia - an ancient land of winemakers, dancers and musicians. A home of legends and fairy tails. A place where Jews experienced both joy and sorrow.
