Royal Visit to Waltham Forest

I was fortunate to meet Their Majesties at a reception at Fellowship Square on Friday 20th, to celebrate the cohesion of the Waltham Forest community following the events of August 2024.

It was an honour to represent our Community at this event. I took the opportunity to tell the King about the Ko-op and the work we do to provide affordable Kosher food to those who are house bound and those caring for elderly relatives or disable children. The King shared with me his ambition to reduce supermarket waste by promoting increased freezer space, so community groups could take more past sell-by-date food.

Thank you to  The Mayor of Waltham Forest, Councillor Sharon Waldron, for inviting me to represent our Community at this event and to the Borough of Waltham Forest for all the support they give to our Community.
